Childcare Funding at ABCDaycare

ABCDaycare operates all year round (51 weeks), so government funded hours are stretched across the full year rather than delivered over the standard 38-week term-time model. This ensures families receive consistent childcare support every week of the year.

Funded entitlements are subject to availability. Extra sessions beyond funded hours are charged separately, as are outings, meals, consumables, and additional activities.

Note: The voluntary contribution helps cover food, consumables, and extra activities provided on funded days.

 

Additional Costs & Requirements

•          Government funded hours cover childcare only. They do not include:

o          Meals and snacks

o          Nappies and wipes

o          Materials for activities

o          Extra classes or special activities

•          We suggest parents use nursery-provided meals and consumables, as bringing food from home may confuse children and affect mealtimes. If parents prefer, children may bring their own food and consumables.

•          Parents should provide:

o          Suncream

o          Toothpaste

o          Toothbrush

•          Outings and extra activities may incur additional charges on funded days. Children whose parents choose not to participate may not attend the activity, but will still be cared for, depending on staff ratios.

 

Deposit

•          ABCDaycare does not charge a registration fee.

•          A deposit is required to secure your child’s place.

•          The deposit is returned when your child leaves the nursery, subject to contract conditions.
